Kristi Kelly, a native of Lafayette, is an Investment Advisor Representative and licensed insurance agent who has been managing the operations of Broussard-Kelly Financial Group since December, 2002. Broussard-Kelly Financial Group is a Lafayette based Insurance and Retirement Investment Services firm owned by Kristi’s father, Wally Broussard. Kristi currently holds the Series 7 & 66 Registrations, as well as an insurance license, so that she can be of greater service to the firm’s clients in the areas of investments and comprehensive financial planning.
After graduating from USL with an M.A. in History, Kristi began the career of an educator as an Adjunct Instructor at UL for almost two years. She then moved into a retail management position where she learned the importance of marketing, budgeting, communications, and team building in running a successful business. Several years later Kristi chose to enter the insurance and financial planning industry with her family firm.
Kristi lives in Lafayette and is the proud mother of two college students, Patrick and Kaylynn... Geaux Tigers and SLCC! Kristi enjoys traveling, dancing, organizing and promoting a Lafayette West Coast dance community, and competing in West Coast Swing.
