Wally D. Broussard, ChFC, CLU

Wally D. Broussard, President of Broussard-Kelly Financial Group, has been assisting Acadiana residents with their insurance and investment needs for over 50 years. He is an experienced educator who is certified by the State of Louisiana to teach continuing education courses in financial services to financial professionals, stockbrokers, insurance agents, attorneys and CPA’s.

Wally has developed a program for clients who are interested in retirement products who want to preserve their principal and make their money last. Since 1971, he has counseled several thousand investors and explains how retirees can utilize various financially suitable investment products and retirement accounts while avoiding common pitfalls when investing. Investors that have used Wally’s advice include pre-retirees and retirees, utility company employees, retired teachers, government employees, physicians and business executives and owners.

Mr. Broussard has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Series 7 registration.  All designations and registrations required him to take rigorous coursework and exams to prove his knowledge in investments, insurance, taxes and estate analysis.

Wally, an Acadiana resident, lives with his wife of over 55 years, Sylvia. He has two daughters, Tania and Kristi, and three grandchildren, Patrick, Kaylynn & Madeleine. Wally, an alumni of Teurlings and USL, is actively involved in his community through his work with St. Joseph's Church in Milton and the Teurlings Alumni Association. His daughter Kristi, an Investment Advisor Representative and licensed insurance agent, is Vice-President of their family firm, Broussard-Kelly Financial Group.
